In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act of 1966, all animals must have veterinary consent prior to treatment. This will be discussed with you on initial enquiry and a form sent to you to be signed by your vet.
-
Please present your horse with mud brushed off, dry and with clean hooves where possible. This may mean leaving them in the night before a session or putting a rug on them in preparation.
-
Any animal presenting with sickness, diarrhoea, or flea infestation will not be treated.
-
Please be aware that if your animal presents with an undiagnosed lameness or illness at their session, physiotherapy treatment cannot take place until your animal receives veterinary attention.
-
All animals are treated at their owners risk and the physiotherapist will make decisions about the animals welfare based on professional judgement.
-
The physiotherapist reserves the right to refuse to treat at any time.
-
All personal data collected will be stored securely for 6 years in line with conditions set by the GDPR legislation.
-
Payment is required by cash or BACS prior to or at time of treatment, or within 10 days for invoice clients.
-
Payments should be made prior to or on the day of treatment. Late payments will incur a charge of 5% of session price per month.
-
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 50% of session price.
-
If you are claiming for physiotherapy from your insurance company, you must have consent from your veterinarian and approval from your insurance company ahead of treatment. Many insurance companies will reimburse costs for veterinary physiotherapy.
